I Will Never Be Lost

There was a time in my life
When I thought that all was lost
I even thought of just giving up
That living was worth nothing
Just not worth the cost
But the cost of what?
That's a good question
And so an answer I sought
'Cause giving up wasn't a choice
Not then and not even now

So here I am kneeling
Kneeling in humble prayer
And there I listened for His voice
Where he tells me plain and clear
To never give up on myself, never
And always hold close to me
All that is most precious and dear
So since that day I have tried
And then tried and tried some more
To make my life worth living
Living life whatever the cost
Because with Him in my life
i will never, ever be lost!
