Day trip to Vegas
To see a ball game
Spending the night
Resting my brain
Also my body
My body so tired
Needing a rest
My mind all mired
Mired in what?
I haven't a clue
I'm drawing a blank
Has my muse sank?
Or maybe just sunk
This drawing blanks
Is a big bunch of bunk!
So I'm here in Vegas
To see a ball game
It should be fun
But I'm feeling lame
Just feeling tired
Really all mired
So tired in fact
That I'm feeling expired . . .
