Can I learn from the Past

 I wonder about the past as I look to the future

Especially wondering how the past has had an effect on me

And wondering if I can use the past to make my future easier

Pondering how I might learn from my friends, family, and ancestors

Profiting from their lives and successes and even from their failures

Learning from their weaknesses and strengths  and humanness 

Wondering and pondering what I can learn from the past
