Time Passing By

Time passes ever so slowly
Or so it often seems
Especially when one is bored
Or when the task at hand is unpleasant
And that is when a speedy clock is a God send
Yet, for the most part, time just passes
Be it perceived slow or speedy
I find myself quite needy
If when it passes
I feel like it is passing me by . . .
