Time Stays and We Go

Where does the time go?
I can kid myself no longer
Realizing that time doesn't go
Rather we go and time stays
Just like the days of our lives
That come like clockwork
Day after day after day
Passing we humans by
The time and days
Followed by months
And then year after year
Always coming and going
While we humans only go
And time in all of its forms
Be they seconds or minutes
Hours, days, and months
Followed by the endless years
Simply go on forever and ever
Staying, while we go . . .
