My Wandering Mind - Hello and Goodbye

 Hello

To no one in particular

Talking to myself

But not expecting replies

Asking searching questions

Yet, not so searching

Letting my mind wander

And wondering . . .

Looking within

Considering my thoughts

And my actions and deeds

Considering asperations

Probing deeply

And wondering . . .

I used to have a muse

Feeling inspired

Feeling directions

Rhymes filling my mind

But the muse 

Whatever muse might be

Seems to have escaped

Guessing that age 

And time have taken a toll

My thoughts rambling

Without direction

Not distracting

But not purposeful

Just a wandering mind

Goodbye
