A Great Way to Spend the Day

Today was like most days
I had you on my mind
I couldn't think of anything
Except you that is
I couldn't hear the phone ring
Like I said, I couldn't do anything
Except think of you
Which comes in second best
To actually being with you
And that's the way my day went
And that how my time was spent
Thinking of you all day
Like I do everyday
And I can't think of a better way
To spend the day
Unless of course
 It is actually spending the day
