The Sadomasochism of Garbage Day

Garbage day is just a day away
Then the garbage man will come
And take my garbage away
So I can accumulate more
For the next garbage day
And so it goes with each passing week
I save and accumulate garbage
For the reliable garbage man
Who religiously empties my garbage can
In a kind of sadomasochistic relationship
Where I dump on him
And then he dumps my dump on him
In some landfill
Both of us benefiting
