Downstairs in the family room
Wathing an old John Wayne western
When you appear coming down the stairs
To give me a loving kiss goodnight
Before taking yourself to bed
And going back up the stairs
Leaving me and John Wayne
Me with tears in my eyes
No longer thinking about the movie
Rather watching you in your red pj's
So thankful to have you in my life
And so thankful to be so much in love
With such a beautiful and wonderful woman
