A day to lay back
A day to relax
A day to reflect
A day to watch you
From across the room
And remember days past
Remembering younger days
While gazing on you
With older eyes
But with the same love
And yes, even lust
Taking in your beauty
As though seeing you
For the very first time
Remembering that day
