Today I was Happy

Hey, how's it going?
Something I'm asked everyday
To which I've most often replied
Pretty good or Ok or fine
Most often when I really didn't mean it
But today I replied to the inquiry
With a smiling and cheerful "I'm Happy"
And you know what?
My day way truly a happy one
Even on a cloudy day without the sun
I was Happy . . .
