Worrying About Our Kids
Arriving late at night
It was nearly midnight
When the kids arrived
Although, they aren't kids
At least anymore . . .
But still, they are kids
At least to me they are
And so like any parent
I worried about them
As they traveled . . .
The roads were wet
And it was stormy
So I worried about them
As they traveled
Like I always do . . .
And like I always do
I worry about them
Including in life's travels
Because its my job
Its what parents do . . .
