 Tonight I am tormented 

By a lustful heart and mind

Alone in bed and tormented

Wanting to you close to me

Needing your warm embrace

Hungering for your soft touch 

And your warm, moist kisses 

To me this is torment ….

 My tears reveal my soul

Rendering me defenseless

As the tears become a river

Revealing a tender heart

Often not knowing why

No understanding of the tears

Unable to explain reasons why

Not knowing why I cry

As my tears reveal my soul

My Wandering Mind - Hello and Goodbye

 Hello

To no one in particular

Talking to myself

But not expecting replies

Asking searching questions

Yet, not so searching

Letting my mind wander

And wondering . . .

Looking within

Considering my thoughts

And my actions and deeds

Considering asperations

Probing deeply

And wondering . . .

I used to have a muse

Feeling inspired

Feeling directions

Rhymes filling my mind

But the muse 

Whatever muse might be

Seems to have escaped

Guessing that age 

And time have taken a toll

My thoughts rambling

Without direction

Not distracting

But not purposeful

Just a wandering mind

Goodbye

A Pleasant Day

 Today has been a pleasant day

All in all a very good day indeed

With everything falling into place

A blessed day of  tranquility

A day of peace and 

A good time to remember

A good day to meditate

A goof to think of the past

And to consider the present

And a good day to contemplate 

Past, present, and the future

Answering life's many questions

Or at least trying to do so

In short, a pleasant day

A very pleasant day

Families and Memories that Bless our Lives

 Families are blessings

And bring joy to our lives

Yet, they can also be painful

But time often erases the pain

Even creating good memories

Of things that weren't so good

Yet, we smile about them now

Even laughing about the them

So strange how our minds work

As time passes healing the past

And so it is with families

As they bless our lives

The good and the not so good

In the end bringing us joy

And enriching our lives

Mixing the pain with happiness

Creating our life's memories

And blessing us
