Writing and Searching for a Muse

Here I am writing
But not like in the past
When inspiration  came so fast
But I'm searching for a muse
Something to inspire me
But until then
Here I sit writing
But it is just gibberish
Banalities of my desperation
To want to write again
Feeling words and thoughts
Surging through my mind
And through my very soul
That is my goal
As I sit here writing . . .
