Speaking and Seeking Truth and Light for MY Soul

I always try to speak my mind
Face to face and not from behind
I always try to speak the truth
And if needs be from the highest roof

I never want to tell a lie
Just reading the Bible tells me why
So I'll keep all God's commandments
At least I'll try

And I'll never fear the opinions of others
Always expressing the truth that is within
Because not speaking out or speaking up
To me must surely be a sin

Because remaining silent darkens the soul
When the truth needs to be spoken
With the darkness shutting out the light
The silence causing an endless, eternal night

So I always try to speak the truth
And those things that are on my mind
Having as my one main goal
To keep divine light flowing from my soul
