Hanging in There

I'm hanging in there
And it could be worse
I could be just hanging
But that will never be
Because I am a coward
And because I believe
That miracles exist
And that with each day
There is the hope
That you will love me
Like you used to
So I'm hanging in there
With a positive spirit
Regardless of anything
You might say to me
That is mean spirited
Because like I said
I believe in miracles

And so like yesterday
And the day before
