No Wonder I am Yawning

Yawn!  Another day
The go by so fast
One after another
Day by day by day
And week by week
Followed by months
Then the years
Time ticking away
Second by second
Minute by minute
Then hour by hour
All going by so fast
Just thinking about it
Really tires me out
No wonder I am yawning . . .

My Morning Prayer

Each morning
As my day begins
I have a visit with God
Usually, just chatting
As I chart my day
Thanking Him
For a good nights sleep
And for my wealth
Those things most precious
My family and friends
Fresh clean air
The roof over my head
My comfortable bed
And the love of my life
For I would be nothing
Absolutely nothing
Without my wife
And this is how I start my day
Along with a song in my heart
