Mother Nature Doing Her Mean Teasing

Allergies!
The itchy eyes
The runny nose
And the sneezing!
It seems like a game
A mean game at that
With Mother Nature
Doing some mean teasing!
Do what do I do?
I just go cachoo!
Blowing snot
In every direction
Plus taking some pills
Hoping to cure my ills
And not get a sinus infection
Yet, the symptoms persist
With the sneezing
The runny nose
The itchy eyes
The mean teasing
Of allergies!

Nervous Nail Biting

Biting my nails
All nervous am I
Please don't ask
Yes, I'm nervous
But I know not why?
Well . . .
Maybe I do know
Procrastination . . .
That's why
Making it an art form
I can procrastinate all day
Without even trying
And so I bite my nails . . .

Hey World! Here I Go!

Hey world!
I'm back on my blog
Where have I been?
Did I fall off of a log?
No! No! Let the truth be known
I have really been quite lazy
And my brain has been quite hazy
Yes! Yes! Let the truth be known
I have been lazy beyond lazy
Lazy right to the bone
But, hey world!
I'm now back
Back on my blog
Hoping my brain
Will escape from it's fog
Letting words flow
From both my mind and my heart
Giving new life to my blog
Repenting from all laziness
With a brand new start
And with that said
Hey world!  Here I Go!

Only Time Will Last

Time passes way too fast
Always so much to do
And I'm always so tired
How will I ever last?

So what to do?
An age old question
I have no clue
Do you have a suggestion?

So I just keep on going
And then going some more
I'm getting so tired
And feeling quite sore

I wish I could slow down
Both myself and the clock
I have a novel idea
To make a clock with a lock

But would that slow down time?
Since time flies so fast
When the truth is known
We will all die
And only time will last
