Thoughts and Ideas Just Pop into My Head Most Randomly

How and why do thoughts and ideas just pop into our heads?
For me, it happens all of the time
Really random kinds of thoughts and ideas
And I mean really off-the-wall random things
Which to those around me think is strange
Yet, to me it is totally normal
And I suppose it is good that no one can read my mind
For then they would surely think me to be absolutely weird
While for the moment they just think I am moderately strange
Which is fine with me
Because even if no one else could ever understand me
The thoughts and ideas that pop into my head
Serve to entertain and amuse me
Which is especially nice
When I begin to start feeling all alone
For then I take count of my blessings
And the mind that God has blessed me with
That allows me to go to places far away
Without ever even moving from my easy chair
And just relax while viewing the panorama of thoughts and ideas
That just pop into my head

Back to the Drawing Board

Back to the proverbial drawing board
Or better stated, my writing desk
Where on some occasions
The words have have flown
From my mind and fingers
Filling pages with grand thoughts
And heartfelt emotions
And so I ask myself
Is the muse returning?
Will my inspiration of the past
Begin anew to inspire?
Will my muse take interest
In me and what I write
And in turn light my fire?
It remains to be seen
So I suppose we shall see
Or at least I will
Anyway, I hope so . . .

The Little Joys of Life

Oh, how I love the little joys of life!
For example, right now
Here I sit at my desk
And while I write
My back is in Heaven
As a massaging device goes to work
Going up and down my spine
And then back again
Could there be anything better?
Well, maybe . . .
Like having real fingers doing the work
Having them go up and down my back
In a sensuous, personal sort of way
And hopefully even lovingly
Perhaps even setting the stage
For more intimacy
Before the night is over
Just the contemplation of it all
The anticipation
Is one of the joys of my life
