Dealing With the Passage of Time

Wow! March is gone and April is here
The time is passing so fast
I have but one fear
That time will pass by
Leaving me far, far behind
My youth will be gone forever
With lost opportunities
And maybe even my mind
But time moves on
It can't be recovered
The only thing I can do
Is to be a discoverer
As I deal with the passage of time

March was a busy month
With lots of stress
Dealing with higher ups
Just making a mess
So busy with meetings
Their heads in the sky
So full of themselves
Their every word is "I"
Heads in the clouds
When not up their ass
Their abuse of power
With attitudes so crass
But what to do?
That is the question
It is better to be quiet
And not make any suggestion
Just put up and shut up
It seems the very best tact
Just be a good little soldier
Make your part a good act
Putting up with muckie-mucks
It just part of the game
Even as things change
They often just stay the same
So you just do your job
Thats the best that you can do
Just deal with the stress
By treating it like the flu
These times too will pass
Even if it takes from now
Until Christmas
Or for goodness sakes
You just do your best
