As I Grow Older By the Day

Growing older by the day
But I still want to play
I am all yours
If you want me
For you I'm made of clay
Just hold me
And mold me
I'll be yours forever
Be it night
Or be it day
And I will always love you
Come what may
As I grow older by the day

Growing Older and Wondering

Each day growing older
Older by the day
Each day I keep wondering
Just what you may say?
Wondering what answers
To the questions I ponder
Wondering and worrying
Wherever I wander
If you will ever love me?
But rather than ask
Such a dangerous question
I follow the avise
Of my own experienced suggestion.
Just keep my wondering
All to myself
And just keep wondering
To what you may say
As I grow older day by day.

Sunday Afternoon Reminicing

Sunday afternoon reminicing
Remembering quiet intimacies
Of just you and I together
Our touching and holding
With such tenderness
Soft and sweet
Moist kisses
Our heart beating
Ever together as one
Rendering a tender love
Not to ever be forgotten
And always to be cherished
As I reminice about you and us
On a quiet Sunday afternoon . . .

A Smile from Across the Room

Today you smiled at me
From across a crowded room
And even though it was cold
Your smile warmed my heart
And without a single word
I could feel your love
As your smile told me
That you love me
And I smiled
Back at you
With love

Spring Will Be Reborn Again

The first Sunday of November
Brings with it the first winds
And the bleak foreboding
Of a dark and cold
Even menacing
Winter
Yet, even so
A bright light
Shining ever brightly
From deep within my soul
Inspired by my belief in God
Tells me that the Winter
Will soon pass and die
And Spring will come
A rebirth of life
Nourishing all
Even love
For us
You and me
For always
And forever . . .

November Begins

October ends
And as it does
An Indian Summer
Fleets quietly away
As it trails behind
The blustery beginning
Of another Winter
With harsh wind
Freezing cold
November begins
