Legalities and Love #6

As I think about Valentines Day and legalities and love,
I wonder if there shouldn't be laws that govern such a day?
After all, is there anything more important that love?
I think not. Perhaps some legalities of love are in order.
So, where to begin? Perhaps at the beginning.
But where does love begin? And why does it often end?
Indeed, tough questions. Still, they merit answering.
Since love requires committment, a contract might be in order.
Maybe even a qualifying exam of some type.
Love is so complex, and yet so very simple.
People say that they fall in love. Usually, falling is fun.
On other types of falls, we get hurt. Sometime in love too.
Love, especially falling in love is so wonderful.
But falling out of love can cause pain and heartache.
In which case, should a person be able to sue for damages?
Lovers insurance might well be the order of the day.
And maybe even for the night. An insurance for the heart.
Love happens, regardless of the hour of day or night.
Love happens, So maybe we need some legal help.
Legalities regarding love. To protect our hearts.
We could name our legal tome Legalities of Love.

Some Valentines Day Thoughts

You know, I've been in love with you forever
Which is a long time, when you think about it . . .
And yet, throughout all of that time and beyond time
My love for you has never waivered, not ever . . .
Even when times have been not so good
And even sad, I have found myself loving you
Even more and ever more, than the day before . . .
Yes, even more than all of the days and weeks
And even all of the months and years of all time
To beyond the limits of time and the understanding of time
I have loved you and will continue to love you . . .
In fact, I can't think of a time in my entire life
That I haven't felt love for you . . .
And I have been in love with you even before we met
Because you were in my heart andI was in love with you
Before time and existence as we know it . . .
A love for you has grown with each new and passing day
And so it goes with the passing of time, day in and day out
My love grows amd grows for you
And so it will be this way for all eternity
I love you now and I will love you forever
Even for always I will love you . . .

Valentines Day Prayer

I love you and I tell you so everyday
Telling you I love you in a million ways
Yet, on the day of sweethearts which is Valentines Day
I look for even more ways to tell you that I love you . . .
And even though recent times have been rough
Of you and your love I just can't get enough
So, on this special day of love what do I say?
I'll tell you once more that I love you
And for you and your love I will always pray

You Are My Vice, How Nice . . .

The past few days have been nice
With last night laced with a bit of spice
You felt so good, just as you should
Feeling your warmth is better
Than feeling your ice
So I want you to know
That our love continues to grow
And loving you will continue
To be my vice.
